The FRTM took part in the musical animation of the great solemn mass celebrated by Bishop of the Armies Monsignor Luc Ravel in the Saint-Louis des Invalides Cathedral, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the death of Louis XIV. The Rallye Trompes des Vosges was present, conducted by Christian Conte, along with Éric Ampeau on the Grand Organ. During communion, the Hommage à Saint Louis was premiered, composed by Olivier d'Ormesson for tenor, hunting horn duet, French horn duet and organ, with lyrics by the Académie Française’s Jean d'Ormesson. The mass ended with some fanfares sounded in the Cour d'honneur des Invalides.
