“Les Feux de Monsieur de Colbert” and the hunting horn

​

At the request of the management of the Domaine Départemental de Sceaux, the FRTM sponsored the presence of the horn at the Château de Sceaux for the 400th anniversary of the birth of Jean-Baptiste de Colbert. 
In the magical setting of the “Feux de Monsieur de Colbert”, a show performed by the Compagnie Carabosse, thirty hornists from different groups provided musical entertainment for the evening in the gardens designed by Le Nôtre.

21:00, 22:00, 23:00 - Concerts and Fanfares
A first group of twelve hornists, all champions, gathered around Nicolas Dromer – four times international horn champion, including at the last international competition at La Motte-Beuvron – performed in concert formation at 21h, 22h and 23h for musical performances of about twenty minutes each. 
In the meantime, about twenty qualified hornists from the FITF formations of Ile-de-France, brought together by their regional delegate Nicolas Dromer, performed fanfares that burst forth during the fireworks.
