ST. HUBERT'S MASS
Auxiliary Bishop of Paris Monsignor de Moulins-Beaufort officiated the mass with two legendary groups, the Débuché de Paris, conducted by Sylvain Oudot, and the Rallye Trompes des Vosges, conducted by Christian Conte. Henri Chalet conducted the Notre-Dame de Paris choir.Several traditional pieces were played, as well as new compositions, including a version of the Hommage à Saint Louis by the Académie française’s Jean d'Ormesson, set to a score adapted for the occasion, for a large ensemble of horns and choir, by Christian Conte and Henri Chalet. The channel KTO broadcast this mass live. The FRTM associated the François Sommer Foundation for Hunting and Nature and the Fédération Internationale des Trompes de France with the musical animation of the mass.
